While all artist signature Fender guitars that come through here at the shop are excellent instruments, there have been a few cases over the years when there are just some slight differences from the non-signature standard models that may leave something to be desired - that has never been the case with Jim Root's series of Fender axes. Even non-metal players such as myself have grown to love the perfect balance of respect towards Fender tradition and making it something all his own as far as a "signature" guitar goes, and this sweet Jazzmaster in Flat White is no exception. 

Keeping the vintage Jazzmaster body shape and 60s-style bound neck and block inlays, Root and Fender stripped down the JM canvas and made it a lean, mean metal machine with a rock-solid hardtail bridge, a simplified control layout and his signature EMG pickups that look old-school but crank out all the modern, aggressive active tones you can ask for.

Only crucial essentials remain: a volume control, a 3-way switch and a hardtail bridge, making this guitar a single-purpose weapon of mass destruction. Featuring a mahogany slab body for crushing lows and mids, brilliant Polar White satin finish, maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard and pearloid block inlays, this devastating machine delivers brutal tone with a striking new look.
